“One of the primary thrusts of my administration under my “social justice” agenda is to provide effective, efficient and transparent government services to our people. This Citizen’s Charter embodies the functions and services of every department and offices in the Iloilo provincial government. This shall serve as our guide in making sure that we act fast and respond right to all business and non-business transactions in our offices including our provincial hospital and district hospitals.
Let this document also serve as guide for our constituents when they transact or avail of the services of the provincial government. We trust that this Citizen’s Charter could empower our people as it can enhance not only transparency and accountability in government services but also foster good relations between our citizen and the provincial government employees as they cooperate in the facilitation of needed documents or services.
Further, this Citizen’s Charter is a manifestation of our strong commitment as public servants to uphold the principles of good governance through high ethical standards. I urge my fellow provincial government workers and public servants to put every word in this Citizen’s Charter to action so we can continue to enjoy the trust and confidence of our people. Let us join hands and work together to make all our dreams and aspirations for our people and province a reality.”
